Melissa Kuypers/NPRFunnyman John C. Reilly makes his animated-film debut this week in Wreck-It Ralph, where he plays a video-game bad guy who wants to be good.
Weekend Edition Host Rachel Martin spoke with Reilly about taking on vastly different roles for recent projects and breaking recording convention for Ralph when he and cast mates Sarah Silverman and Jane Lynch did their voice recordings together in the same room so they would be sure to catch all the improvisational moments.
While he was here at NPR West, Reilly showed us some love, because he is, after all, one of the good guys.
