| What is the ISDN directory? | NPR has been gathering useful ISDN-equipped locations for some time now, the site being noted each time an NPR program uses a station or studio for interviews. We are now making a subset of this list available to NPR member stations, through this searchable directory. |
| Do I need special glasses or something to view the directory? | No. The only requirement is that your Browser must be able to run JAVA applets.(You can download a JAVA-enabled browser, for free, by browsing to www.netscape.com or www.microsoft.com.) |
| How do I search the directory? | You can search the directory by state, city, location, codec,
or bitrate. If you're using a Netscape browser, you can print locations
you select just by clicking on the search form's buttons. Although the search controls are fairly intuitive, we've developed a HELP page that describes the search controls. Just press the HELP button on the search form to see the HELP page. |
| Where are the ISDN phone numbers? | To respect the privacy of those listed, we have not provided the actual ISDN phone numbers in our list. Use directory information (that is, area code plus "555-1212") to obtain voice telephone numbers for those listed. |
| I have a correction and an addition. . . Who should get the info? | Please send corrections and additions to Norb Gallery at ngallery@npr.org |
| Are there other places to get ISDN numbers and locations? |
