Vacation USA For Less Than $100 A Day
As the summer vacation season gets under way, the economy remains in a slump. But that doesn't mean that you have to shelve your dreams of a fun summer getaway. We are asking NPR reporters and listeners from across the country to share their ideas for budget vacations across the country -- places where you and your family can still have a good time for less than $100 a day.
Do you have ideas for how to have fun on your days off where you live, or in a place you've visited? Are there free or low-cost art museums, exhibits, theater outings, recreation opportunities beaches, dining and lodging or other amusements options that you want to let the rest of your fellow Americans know about? Tell us here and we may include your ideas on our Recession Vacation map.
