Day to Day, November 26, 2003 · The new federal "number portability" rule now allows consumers to switch their cell phone service without having to change their cell phone number. To lure new customers, many wireless service providers are offering new phone functions and gadgets -- including built-in phone cameras.
NPR's Alex Chadwick talks with technology writer Xeni Jardin about these "phonecams," and the online world of phonecam "blogs," where users submit their favorite photos to Web galleries.
