      Hultgren Fights To Reclaim Seat For GOP

      Bill Foster's victory in a 2008 special election was widely followed, because it came in the district vacated by former Speaker Dennis Hastert. Had the Republicans come up with a more unifying candidate, they might have had a shot at keeping the seat. This time, they are united behind state Sen. Randy Hultgren. -Ken Rudin
