GOP's Pearce Fights To Regain Seat Lost To Teague In '08

For the GOP, 2008 was a calamity. The state's two members of the House ran against each other for the Senate seat that GOP incumbent Pete Domenici was giving up. As it was, the Democrats took all three contests -- and among them was Harry Teague, the first Democrat to win this seat in 28 years. Steve Pearce, who gave up the seat to run for the Senate, wants it back. -Ken Rudin
