Berry's Departure Gives GOP An Opening

This seat has not been filled by a Republican since Reconstruction, but the retirement of Rep. Marion Berry (D) gives the GOP an opening. The district was easily carried by John McCain two years ago. The Democrat in the race, Chad Causey, was once Berry's chief of staff. -Ken Rudin
