        Markey Faces Stiff Challenge In Colorado

        Betsy Markey (D) defeated controversial GOP Rep. Marilyn Musgrave in 2008, in a district last won by a Democrat in 1972. Markey ran as a moderate and painted her opponent as a far-right conservative who failed to focus on the economy. Two years later, the economy is not much better and Cory Gardner (R), a state representative, is making the case that now it's the Democrats -- and Markey -- who are at fault.
