- Extended Program Service That part of all programming on the Public
Radio Satellite System which pays its way onto the system and is not produced by or
contracted for by NPR Programming. Includes point-to-point feeds for other entities like
the CBC or VOA, plus syndicated and
commercial programming like the Metropolitan Opera. About 50% of all PRSS
feeds are EPS.
