Washed Out, Live In Concert: Sasquatch 2011

May 29, 2011 Featuring songs from his forthcoming album, Ernest Greene brings hazy bedroom electronica to the Sasquatch Music Festival with a broader sound and an expanded backing band.

When Ernest Greene, the man behind Washed Out, released his breakthrough 2009 EP Life of Leisure to widespread critical acclaim, he was presented with the rather daunting task of taking his hazy bedroom electronica out of the privacy of his home and onto the stages of packed clubs. After a year and a half on the road, Greene is releasing his first full-length album this July. He's still crafting blissful, downtempo dance tunes, but his new material has a shimmering, expansive sound — a perfect match for The Gorge's stunning vistas.

Recorded live at The Gorge on Saturday, May 28, Greene performs with a live band at the 2011 Sasquatch Music Festival outside Seattle, Wash.
