Typhoon, Live In Concert: Sasquatch 2011

May 29, 2011 With an arsenal of strings and brass, the large Portland collective produces a joyous, uplifting sound.

Typhoon is a Portland-based collective of musicians which performs with anywhere from seven to 17 members at any given time. After suffering through Lyme disease as a child, lead singer Kyle Morton internalized the experience to create songs that celebrate and affirm life. With an arsenal of strings and brass, the band produces a joyous, uplifting sound. Its second EP, The Honest Truth, was released in March.
