Earth In Concert: ATP Festival 2011

October 5, 2011 The instrumental quartet gave a stirring, meditative performance at All Tomorrow's Parties.

Earth is a live band truly invested in its craft. At least that's what I realized after witnessing the drone-metal-turned-doom-Americana band in Baltimore in June. Led by guitarist Dylan Carlson, the instrumental quartet gave a stirring, meditative performance at All Tomorrow's Parties, mostly culling from this year's excellent Angels of Darkness, Demons of Light I, but also reaching back to its louder days with "Ouroboros is Broken."

Set List

"Blackwaterside"
"Old Black"
"Bees Made Honey in the Lion's Skull"
"Father Midnight"
"Ourobouros is Broken"
"Angels of Darkness, Demons of Light 1"
