What is Satellite Radio?

Sirius Satellite Radio broadcasts 120 channels of digital quality commercial-free music and talk programming to listeners in cars, trucks, homes, RVs, and boats throughout the continental United States via a subscription based service.

NPR has two channels on Sirius and one channel on XM: NPR Now 134 on both Sirius and XM, and NPR Talk 135 on Sirius, featuring the best of NPR including Car Talk, Fresh Air, Talk of the Nation, Day to Day, and American Public Media's Marketplace, and A Prairie Home Companion. Using specially-designed satellite radio receivers, listeners can hear NPR programs while driving coast to coast.
