“For the past nine years, NPR has sponsored an internship program. Each summer…” With those words, the host of the very first NPR Intern Edition kicked off an experiment that would turn into the cornerstone of the NPR intern experience. Below is every show since 1999 except for the summer of 2001 (in which, sadly, we think we’ve lost the audio). We want to thank each and every previous intern for their dedication to Intern Edition. We strive to build upon each others work year after year, season after season. Here’s to ten more years of Intern Edition!
