Sept. 23, 2002 -- The Senate Armed Services Committee hears testimony from four retired generals on the military consequences of action against Iraq: Marine Corps Gen. Joseph P. Hoar, former chief of the U.S. Central Command; Army Gen. Wesley Clark, former Supreme Allied Commander in Europe during the war in the Balkans; Air Force Lt. Gen. Tom McInerny; and Army Gen. John M. Shalikashvili, former chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff.
