Fabiola Arredondo

Managing Partner, Siempre Holdings

Fabiola Arredondo, Managing Partner of Siempre Holdings, a private investment firm based in Greenwich, Connecticut, has been elected by the NPR Board of Directors to a second three year term as a Public Director of the NPR Board, subject to confirmation by the membership. Her second term will begin in November 2016.

Fabiola is also a non-executive Board Director of Burberry plc, Rodale Inc., a Board Trustee of Sesame Workshop, and a member and prior Co-Chair of the National Council of the World Wildlife Fund in the U.S.

She has also served as a Non Executive Board Director of Experian Group, Saks Incorporated, the Intelsat Corporation, Bankinter S.A., the BOC Group plc, and the World Wildlife Fund U.S. and U.K.

She previously held senior operating roles at Yahoo! Inc., the BBC, and Bertelsmann AG. From 1997 to 2001, as a member of the initial team at Yahoo! and its Managing Director of Europe, Fabiola built and led the team and profitable eight-country operation that drove Yahoo! to become the leading internet network in Europe. During her time there she was featured on the covers of Fortune Europe (also on their "Most Powerful Women" list) and Newsweek International, and after leaving Yahoo! she was selected by an independent jury to top the "Most Influential Women in European Business" list for the Wall Street Journal Europe.

Fabiola joined Yahoo! from the British Broadcasting Corporation (BBC Worldwide) where she was the Director of International Distribution, responsible for the international television program licensing business which marketed, sold and co-produced programming globally in the Americas, Asia Pacific, and Europe. She was a member of BBC Worldwide's Executive Board and was also an Executive Board Director of its European Channel Management Board, which oversaw the BBC World and BBC Prime television channels in Europe.

Before joining the BBC, she was at BMG Entertainment, the music and television division of Bertelsmann A.G., where she was the Director of Strategic Planning and then the Regional Vice President of International A&R and Marketing across Spain, Portugal, and Latin America.

Fabiola speaks fluent Spanish and is a graduate of Stanford University and the Harvard Business School. She has also been a term member of the U.S. Council on Foreign Relations and a member of the World Economic Forum.
