Alice Winkler produces news and cultural features for the weekend editions of All Things Considered.
Before joining NPR on the Arts Desk in 1986, Winkler worked as a documentary filmmaker. She has been a member of the ATC weekend team since 2001.
The New Jersey native is the mother of two young children.
