Bunny Berigan was at the peak of his game as one of the country's leading trumpeters in the mid to late 1930s. He played with the greats: Buddy Rich, Tommy Dorsey and Benny Goodman. After a lifetime of hard living and heavy drinking, Berigan died when he was just 33 years old.
