Karen Michel reports on the latest project from guitarist Ry Cooder. The Buena Vista Social Club is a group of Cuban musicians, some of whom are legendary in Cuban musical circles, that Cooder brought together to explore Cuban rhythms and classic Cuban popular music styles.
