I've been directing All Things Considered since 1989. I can't imagine a better job. It has all the thrill and adrenaline of live theater, and all the details that go into good journalism. Picking music is the most obvious part of my job, but it is a very small part of what a director does. In fact I pick the music for All Things Considered while I'm directing the show, something that makes some folks rather nervous!
