Mabel Starrett

Starrett's 1935 article in Crippled Child magazine, directed at her fellow members of the Society for Crippled Children, is one of our favorite finds. Mabel Starrett was the editor of "Round Robin," the "chat page" for children inside the Magazine. Starrett's basic concern is that after nearly 15 years of active organizing, adults with disabilities were not adequately represented at the Society's meeting.
