Planting Mix for Roses

The following is Peter Strauss' homegrown mix for planting roses:

Ingredients:

• 1 cup gypsum
• 1 tbs soil sulphur
• 1 tbs epsom salt
• 1/2 cup superphosphate
• 1 tbs chelated iron
• optional: 1/2 cup blood meal

Use in planting hole; then fertilize yearly in spring.
