Doreen McCallister
Overnight Supervising Editor

Doreen McCallister is the overnight supervising editor for Morning Edition. Her job includes making sure the show reflects the latest news, writing scripts, checking facts and helping plan the next day's program. Doreen not only edits the show but she's in charge of Morning Edition's parties. She believes the mood of the overnight (Doreen comes to work at 1 a.m.) is better with parties. Her editor's tools include a red pencil, a stopwatch, a George Foreman Grill, a deep fryer, a roaster, a pizzelle iron, a skillet and a sauce pan. Office mate Jeffrey Katz is a little worried that he's going to be replaced with a subzero freezer.
