Melissa Jaeger-Miller Melissa Jaeger-Miller arrived at NPR as a wide-eyed intern in the spring of 2003, and hasn't left since. With Morning Edition she has produced a wide variety of stories, from the economics of petroleum to the Coney Island Mermaid Parade. Her radio experience includes serving as the news director for Tulane University's student-run station, WTUL, and later as a reporter for Pacifica station KPFA in Berkeley. Melissa is a proud native of Oakland, Calif., which she calls the most beautiful city in America.
