Shannon Rhoades Associate Editor
Shannon Rhoades, associate editor at Morning Edition, came to NPR in 2000 after working in advertising and film. (One of her clients was Krispy Kreme Donuts, which made her an instant celebrity with Morning Edition overnight staff.) She worked in Washington, D.C., for three years and is now based at NPR West. Shannon is a graduate of Smith College with degrees in Government and French Language and Literature. She also spent a year studying at the Sorbonne and Sciences Po in Paris. Shannon hails from a lovely town in Oregon, a town so lovely she refuses to name it here because too many people have moved there as it is.
