Tour de France winner Lance Armstrong and Hamilton Jordan, former chief of staff for President Jimmy Carter, share the experience of suffering, and recovering, from cancer. Amstrong and Jordan spoke to the Press Club about improving the quality of life for cancer survivors and continuing to drum up support for the "war on cancer" that President Richard Nixon declared in 1971.
"It's the one opponent I'll never turn my back on," Armstrong says. "I respect it. I could win the tour on July 27th and get sick on July 28th."
