Actor Ossie Davis spoke to the National Press Club as he prepared to host the 15th broadcast of the PBS National Memorial Day Concert. Davis, himself a World War II veteran, was joined at the Press Club by actors Charles Durning, a U.S. Army veteran of Normandy and Joe Mantegna, veteran's affairs chairman for the 2004 National Salute to Hospitalized Veterans.
