Gen. Michael Hagee, U.S. Marine Corps Commandant, spoke to the National Press Club about technological and logistical changes the Marines are undertaking to fight the war on terrorism.
He also assessed the position of the Marines in Iraq. "If we wanted to come in and level... Najaf, we could do that. The solution is not necessarily a kinetic solution. We need patience in these large cities."
