Lee Musiker | Show Song List

Not many musicians are as busy as Lee Musiker. As a conductor, Musiker has led orchestras from Baltimore to San Diego. He's worked with everyone from Lionel Hampton to Jerry Lewis; his piano credits extend from Broadway to Hollywood.
Emmy Award-winning conductor, pianist, composer and arranger Lee Musiker has long worked with the leading jazz, classical, pop and Broadway performers, including Mel Torme, Kathleen Battle, Doc Severinson, Betty Buckley, and Lionel Hampton. He has conducted almost 50 symphony orchestras, including the Chicago Symphony Orchestra and the National Orchestra in the United States and Canada. He has also worked as a music director for premier artists, including Maureen McGovern and Jerry Lewis.

After completing degrees at Eastman School of Music and the Manhattan School of Music, Musiker toured for two years with the Buddy Rich Band. Returning to his native New York, he performed in orchestras of Broadway shows, including Beauty and the Beast, Cats, Chicago, City of Angels, Crazy for You, Jerome Robbins' Broadway and Starlight Express.

Musiker's work can also be heard on the soundtracks of such box-office hits as Sleepless in Seattle, Woody Allen's Crimes and Misdemeanors, and John Grisham's The Juror.

A music educator, Musiker has been a member of the faculties of New York University and Mannes School Of Music at the New School. In addition, he has written educational text and recordings for Bradley Publications and for the Music Company of North America.
