Meet Jason Vieaux
PT Young Artist-in-Residence

Guitarist Jason Vieaux
A winner of the prestigious Guitar Foundation of America International Competition in 1992, guitarist Jason Vieaux was the first PT Young Artist-in-Residence of 2002.

For a week in February, Jason performed the works of Bach, Rodrigo, Albeniz, Piazzolla and others, in NPR's Studio 4A.

Joining Jason for the week were violinist Soovin Kim, flutist Gary Schocker, and the Shanghai String Quartet. Below, you can listen to on-demand audio of these performances.

The PT Young Artist-in-Residence program is made possible by
the generous assistance of the Helen F. Whitaker Fund.
