Some voices of a generation ago are no longer heard in the natural world. It's only a matter of time before eternal silence follows the last calls of some species on the verge of extinction today. To hear the sounds of lost and endangered species, we'll explore the rare recordings of the Library of Natural Sounds at Cornell University. John Fitzpatrick, Director of the Laboratory of Ornithology, takes us on a poignant audio tour of some of the last calls of vanished and endangered species.
