Driveway MomentSM

moreMigratory Birds
Every spring, the Platte River Valley in central Nebraska is transformed into a birdwatcher's paradise.
All Things Considered - April 4, 1997

Suggested by Anne, who listens to WNYC in New York City:

"My driveway moment was several years ago. The story was about bird-watchers in Nebraska. Every year they watch the geese who land on the marshes. The reporter explained how he joined them to cover the event. He inadvertently caused all of the thousands of birds to fly away, to the disgust of his fellow bird-watchers. It was such a descriptive piece, I felt like I had been there. I would love to hear that story again."
