Gay in the Heartland
Weekend Edition Saturday, April 9, 2005 · Reporter Sarah Neal brings us a portrait of being gay in rural America through the eyes of her mother and her friends. Neal's mother is gay and lives in a region of the country known to locals as "Kentuckiana" along the Kentucky-Indiana border.
