Angeline's Raisin Pecan Pie

Ingredients:

  • 1 1/2 c. raisins
  • 1 1/4 c sugar
  • 1/2 c butter (1 stick)
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 c pecan halves
  • 1 tsp nutmeg
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 9" pie shell, unbaked

    Instructions:
    Preheat oven to 350. Boil the raisins in water for 10 minutes, until plump. Drain and cool. Cream together the butter and sugar. Beat in eggs and flavorings. When combined, add pecans and cooled raisins. Fill the pie shell and bake until set, 30 to 40 minutes.
