The Senate passed a farm bill and began consideration of amendments to the immigration bill.  A federal judge approved an FDA plan to drop limits on one type of morning after pill.   And  six months after the Newtown shootings,  family members, elected officials, and other leaders gathered for a day of remembrance, and a call to revive gun control initiatives.
