Abbey Road Studios Can Be Yours

EMI Records is reportedly looking for someone to buy the famed Abbey Road Studios, where The Beatles recorded most of their music. According to Reuters, the London-based studio has been put on the market to help the label shore up its debt. An unnamed source tells Reuters that the deal could bring in nearly $50 million.

Abbey Road was originally a townhouse built in the 1830s. The Beatles were far from the only band to immortalize the studios. Pink Floyd, composer Edward Elgar, Radiohead and countless other artists have recorded there, as well.
