From Our Flickr Pool: A Simple Explanation For Your iPhone Troubles

As you’ve probably heard, holding iPhone 4 in a certain way can lead to lowered reception bars or dropped calls.

Apple scientists labored in specially designed laboratories to find an explanation. They determined poor antenna placement and their own inflation of signal strength were the main culprits. It took Apple a slew of press releases and 20-minute presentation from Steve Jobs to explain the problem.
