Because It's Monday..."Cabros" By Odisea

English / Spanish

It's Monday, and I would much rather be sitting by the pool drinking a caipirinha. My daydreaming is only encouraged by the fact that the traffic cop by my office building is blowing on his whistle with a force and repetition that would better be suited for Brazilian carnaval.

Mondays are tough for everyone. That's why every Monday we will be recommending a Latin Alternative song to lighten up your miserable existence, if only for a few minutes.

Odisea CD Cover

Judging by the cover of his new CD, lead singer of Odisea's Alex Anwandter has an urge to dance...even if he has to do it all by himself. At a lonely gas station. In the middle of the night. Album Cover hide caption

Today, we are recommending Chilean band Odisea's "Cabros," a sexy, danceable tune about a guy who is ready to party, but can't find his buddies anywhere. What is it about men who dare to sing in a high pitched disco voice?

And if you are not familiar with lead singer Alex Anwandter's former band, Teleradio Donoso— well you really should check them out.
