As you know, we here at Alt.Latino have a weakness for rock and pop songs redone in Latin genres, whether it's mariachis covering metal or merengue versions of old Top 40 hits.

Needless to say, I almost fell over when discovering the Mexican band Tropikal Forever doing a merengue-infused cover of Metallica's "Enter Sandman."

But wait, there's more! They also do covers of Nirvana, Guns N' Roses and The Doors. Check out "Herido De Nauyaca," which smells suspiciously like teen spirit.

¡Entra, Sandman!
