Brazil's biggest indie pop export, Cansei de Ser Sexy (CSS), will be dropping its highly anticipated third album, La Liberación, tomorrow.

The five-piece band acquired international success with the single "Music Is My Hot Hot Sex," yet still calls São Paulo home. While most of the songs in CSS's previous albums, Cansei de Ser Sexy (2006) and Donkey (2008), were aimed at the dance floor, this album finds them developing more intricate sounds and mature subject matter. They also have a fantastic sense of humor, which explains their name ("I'm Tired Of Being Sexy"), taken from a quote by Beyoncé, who allegedly said she was "tired of being sexy."

But fans of CSS's carefree attitude shouldn't worry too much about this shift. They're still the party band you fell in love with years ago. It's just that now they're also looking beyond the glam pop that made them famous.

La Liberación's first single, "Hits Me Like A Rock," is a well-polished summer jam featuring Bobby Gillespie, lead singer of the renowned Scottish alt-rock band Primal Scream.

Despite other A-list collaborations with pianist Mike Garson (known for collaborating with David Bowie, Nine Inch Nails and The Smashing Pumpkins) and New York electronic duo Ratatat, it's the album's Spanish-language (a first for them) title track that's bringing the most attention. It's energetic, sexy and the heart of the album, even though it's just two minutes long.

Cansei De Ser Sexy's new album is out Aug. 23.
