The Original Cover of 'Billie Jean'

Today on "The Most" searched Google terms was "Chris Cornell Billie Jean". An American Idol contestant did a fine job recreating Cornell's cover of the Michael Jackson classic. If you are curious, below is the former Soundgarden/Audioslave frontman's version. And for fans like me — hold on — a Cornell solo album is due in the spring.

I love this cover as well. This video must be about a year old because this cover was already released on Chris Cornell's solo albulm "Carry On" which was released last June. The studio version is just as good.

Wait, so that crap Cook was doing last night wasn't even an ORIGINAL bad idea?

Every one of Cook's performances has been a cover of a cover. Three or four weeks ago a band who he took from without stating complained. Since then the show has made these quick cites to the "original" cover. It doesn't seem right!!!
