@Matt: It's interesting that you didn't go with "Patrick Stewart and Jonathan Frakes" or "Jean Luc Picard and Wil Riker." I think you just wanted to say "Jonathan Frakes".

I'm a big Star trek nerd from way back (Next Gen, not the original series) and I knew exactly what I was saying -- I prefer Jean Luc Picard over Patrick Stewart and Jonathan Frakes over Wil Riker. Both are more fun to say. And I'm a nerd.

Matt, Trish is the queen of the one-liners and puns: "May the fork be with you" and, the classic, "no dunk driving."
You really need to get off of her cloud, Matt. ("The agony of "de feet.""...ugh...can't you be fired from NPR for that?)

Matt, you had me at Next Gen. A friend and I were recently debating which was the (please read in Comic Book Guy voice) worst Next Gen alien race ever! I'm torn between the Pakleds and the Bynars.
Yeah, I know I just went deep nerd.

It's a classic Brent Spiner/Geordi LaForge situation!

@Maura -- Bynars. Totally.

Notice how Matt completely skipped over the fact that Phillip thinks I'm more awesome than he is?

@Tricia: well, duh. That's a given, especially after the perky new haircut.
