Death Cab for Cutie Plays the BPP

Death Cab for Cutie stopped by the BPP yesterday to deliver some musical goodness from their new album, Narrow Stairs. It's the band's second major label effort and its already getting some serious attention from critics and listeners alike. Here's DCFC with the somewhat co-dependently titled but beautifully written single off that record, "I Will Possess Your Heart."

I'm glad you guys did this. I was quite mad at your review of the album yesterday. I didn't agree with it at all. Death Cab is amazing!!

Yeah, the guy who reviewed the new DC CD didn't like the 4 minute intro for "I will posses your heart." I bet he hates "Stairway to Heaven" "Hey Jude" and the album version of "Light my Fire" to name a few songs that dare to go over 3 minutes. Whatever, its a great song and CD.

The "real" BPP theme song, or a message to the NPR suits:

"How I wish you could see the potential, the potential of BPP
It's like a book elegantly bound, but in a language that you can't read - just yet
You gotta spend some time--love, you gotta spend some time with me
And I know that you'll find--love, I will possess your heart
