Today's TOTN Mini-Junkie: Colorado Rep. Markey (D) And Challenger Gardner (R)

Another "mini-Political Junkie" segment on NPR's Talk of the Nation today.

At 3:40 p.m. Eastern time, we'll hear from freshman Rep. Betsy Markey, a Colorado Democrat who convincingly ousted GOP incumbent Marilyn Musgrave two years ago ... and who is in danger of losing her seat herself this year to Republican state Rep. Cory Gardner.

Yesterday's segment focused on the Ohio gubernatorial race with Democratic incumbent Ted StricklandJohn Kasich, his Republican opponent, was scheduled to appear but canceled 15 minutes prior to the show.
