U.S. Chamber CEO: Voters Reject Tax-And-Spend, Uncertainty

U.S. Chamber of Commerce President and CEO Tom Donohue applauded Tuesday’s election results as the dimensions of the GOP victory became clearer.

He sent out a link to a video, and said: “Voters have resoundingly rejected more government spending, higher taxes, and more burdensome regulations that have caused crippling uncertainty for businesses.”

The Chamber has had a contentious relationship with the Obama White House. But Donohue promised to “work with members of both parties who support policies” backed by the Chamber.
