This Week's ScuttleButton Winner: Scott Maguffin of Eugene, Oregon

And speaking of turkeys ...

No, that's probably not the best way to introduce this week's ScuttleButton answer and winner.  But I want to wish everyone a great Thanksgiving holiday.  Political Junkie returns on Tuesday, Nov. 30.

And now for the solution to last week's puzzle  Here were the buttons:

We For Lee — Lee Alexander, a former mayor of Syracuse, unsuccessfully sought the Democratic nomination for the Senate from New York in 1974.

New York Is a Summer Festival — An offering from the New York Convention and Visitors Bureau.

This is Kemps Town (with a picture of a cow) — Not a clue.

I Ski Gunstock — A ski resort in Gunstock, N.H.

And so, when you add Lee + Summer + Cow + Ski, you might end up with ...

Lisa Murkowski.  The current and, probably, future senior senator from Alaska.

And yes, everyone who submitted the answer wanted to know if spelling counts.  But there can only be one winner.  And that winner, chosen completely at random, is (drum roll) ... Scott Maguffin of Eugene, Ore.
