Do you enjoy a literary thriller? Are you one of those people who has to read the last page first, because otherwise, it's simply too suspenseful for you? Do you love the experience anyway?

No? Just me?

I wanted to draw your attention to the fact that NPR is gathering your nominations and thoughts for its eventual list of "Killer Thrillers." Now, don't put them here — put them over there in the comments section, and your vote will be counted. You can offer books nobody else has mentioned, or you can cast another vote for something that's already been suggested.

(It's probably only a matter of time before some wiseacre says something like, "I find the Dr. Seuss books to be thrillers, because education is the most thrilling thing one can experience, and the mind of a child is the ultimate hall of mirrors, your guidance its secret passageway" or something, but so far, the list of thrillers contains actual thrillers. Check it out!)
