Friday is the deadline to sign up for the chance to have author Abraham Verghese drop in on your local discussion of this month's NPR Book Club selection, the bestselling Cutting for Stone. We've been reading the book all month long (and hopefully you have too) and discussing it with the author on the NPR Books Facebook page. Register your Meetup by Friday, March 25, and if you have over ten participants scheduled to attend, your group will be eligible for a drawing. Dr. Verghese has graciously agreed to drop in on three groups, either via video- or phone-chat.
How to Sign Up
Visit our Meetup page. There, you can start a book club in your local community (or create a page for a book club you already attend). Or if there is already a Meetup near you, you can join in and encourage your friends to sign up as well. Remember, only groups with ten or more people registered by THIS FRIDAY will be entered, so if you need to nudge your friends and coworkers to come along, now's the time. We have asked readers to try to schedule their book clubs for Saturday, April 2, but you can schedule yours any time that is convenient that week.
Ask Abraham Verghese
Dr. Verghese is also answering questions in our Facebook discussion forum through the end of March.

We look forward to revealing our Meetup winners on Monday, March 27. Happy reading!
