This week, we took a hint from one of our Facebook fans and talked about what "comfort food" we turn to when we get into a cultural rut and want to reawaken our love of the things we love, as it were. We took this topic in a number of directions, from pterodactyls to girls' bikes to the things Trey thinks might be the comfort food of the future. Obviously, we welcome your suggestions for what comfort foods bring you back to the things you love.

Fans of the Regrettable Television Pop Quiz (and its theme song) will be happy to hear it return, and as always, we wrap up with the things that are making us happy this week.

As always, you can follow us on Twitter — follow me, Stephen,Glen, Trey and Mike. Or, as you will hear us say on the show about four billion times this week, catch up with us on Facebook.

We no longer support commenting on NPR.org stories, but you can find us every day on Facebook, Twitter, email, and many other platforms. Learn more or contact us.
