NPR has worked for years to make its shows and content available on mobile devices (beyond the radio, that is). As part of that effort, NPR produces several podcasts that have proven incredibly popular with audiences and critics. Don't take our word for it, though. Check out how NPR podcasts are making headlines.
All Songs Considered and Pop Culture Happy Hour landed on the Paste Magazine list for Best Entertainment Podcasts of 2012.
Apartment Therapy named Fresh Air one of the Best Podcasts for a Slow Day at Work, saying "I always miss the show when it airs live on the radio, so to have this show available via podcast is a dream."
The on-demand listening app Stitcher recently handed out its 2012 awards, giving top honors to three NPR podcasts. Best Music Commentary went to All Songs Considered, Wait, Wait... Don't Tell Me! won in the Best Games & Hobbies category and Most Original Show went to How to Do Everything.
The iTunes editors tapped the TED Radio Hour as their choice for the Best New Audio Podcast of 2012.
